Cancellation policy

This policy explains how the True North Granola subscription program works, how to cancel, and how charges and refunds are handled. It applies to all subscription products offered on truenorthgranola.com.
If anything in this policy conflicts with our Terms of Service, this policy controls for subscription-related matters.
Plain-English Summary
When you enroll in a subscription:

You authorize True North Granola to automatically charge your payment method on a recurring schedule.

The charge happens before each shipment, at the price and frequency you selected.

You will continue to receive shipments and be charged until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time. There are no cancellation fees.
How Subscriptions Work
When you subscribe to a product, you agree to the following:

Recurring charges. Your payment method on file is charged automatically before each scheduled shipment.

Price. Each charge is the subscription price displayed at checkout, plus applicable taxes and shipping. We will tell you in advance if the price changes (see "Price Changes" below).

Frequency. You select your delivery frequency at checkout (for example, every month, every 2 months, or every 3 months). You can change your frequency at any time from your account.

Renewal. Your subscription continues automatically until you cancel.
After you enroll, you will receive a confirmation email summarizing your subscription terms, including the product, price, frequency, and instructions for managing or cancelling.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time using any of the methods below. Cancellation is free, and we will not charge you any cancellation or early-termination fee.
Option 1 — Cancel from your account (fastest)

Go to My Account → Subscriptions

Select the subscription you want to cancel

Click Cancel Subscription

Confirm the cancellation
Your cancellation takes effect immediately. You will receive a confirmation email.
Option 2 — Cancel by email
Email info@truenorthgranola.com with the subject line "Cancel Subscription." Include:

Your name

The email address on your account
-
The product(s) you want to cancel
We will confirm your cancellation within one business day.
Option 3 — Cancel by phone
Call 1-802-254-9200 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern). Tell our team you'd like to cancel your subscription.
How to Pause or Skip a Shipment
If you don't want to cancel entirely, you have two other options:

Pause — temporarily stop your subscription. No charges will occur while paused. You can resume any time.

Skip — skip a single upcoming shipment without affecting future deliveries.
Both options are available from My Account → Subscriptions, or by emailing info@truenorthgranola.com.
Pauses and skips must be requested before the next charge date. Once a charge has processed, we cannot reverse it for a pause/skip request.
When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellations submitted through your account are effective immediately.

Cancellations submitted by email or phone are effective as soon as we process the request, typically within one business day.

Cancellation stops future charges and shipments. It does not refund charges that have already been processed for orders that have already shipped.
Pre-Charge Reminders
Before each recurring charge, we will send you a reminder email at the address on your account. The reminder includes:

The product(s) shipping next

The amount that will be charged

The date of the upcoming charge

A link to manage, pause, or cancel your subscription
Reminders are sent at least 3 days before the charge.
Price and Product Changes
We may change subscription prices or product specifications from time to time. If we make a change that affects your subscription, we will:

Notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

Give you the opportunity to cancel before the new price or product applies.
You may also change your subscribed products, quantity, or frequency at any time from your account.
Refunds

Subscription charges that have already shipped are not refundable except where the product is defective, damaged in transit, or shipped in error. See our Return and Refund Policy for those situations.

Charges for unshipped orders (for example, if cancellation is processed before fulfillment) are refunded to the original payment method.

You are not entitled to a refund for failing to pause or skip in time. Please cancel, pause, or skip before your next charge date.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of approval.
Failed Payments
If a recurring charge fails, we may retry the charge up to 3 times over 7 days. If all retries fail, your subscription will be automatically suspended. You will receive an email notifying you and can update your payment method from your account to resume.
Subscription Term
Subscriptions have no minimum term. There is no cancellation fee. There is no penalty for cancelling after one shipment.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email before they take effect, with the new "Last Updated" date reflected above. Continued enrollment in a subscription after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
California Residents
This policy is intended to comply with California's Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17600 et seq.). California residents have the right to cancel subscriptions at any time without penalty using any of the methods described above.
