Since 2006

Two teachers who kept improving the granola.

Ingrid and Franklin Chrisco began making granola for friends and family before bringing it to the Brattleboro Farmers Market nearly two decades ago.

Through years of customer conversations, repeat buyers, and small-batch baking, True North Granola became a Vermont staple known for balanced sweetness, honest ingredients, and flavor people came back for week after week.

Listening since 2006

The recipes were shaped at the Brattleboro Area Farmers Market through years of honest feedback, repeat customers, and small adjustments batch after batch.

Thoughtfully Made

Most granola falls into one of two extremes. It is either overly sweet or dry and forgettable. True North Granola was built around balance. Rich enough to feel satisfying, yet simple enough to enjoy every day.

Alongside classic recipes, the lineup has grown to include gluten free, grain free, vegan, nut free, and no added sugar options, all still handmade in Vermont.

The Legacy Continues

True North Granola was built by Ingrid and Franklin Chrisco over nearly two decades at the Brattleboro Area Farmers Market.

In Summer of 2025, Parwaz and Ankur took over as the new owners. Same recipes, same Vermont kitchen, same small-batch baking.

Still Vermont. Now Everywhere.

Today, True North is stocked in grocery stores and co-ops across New England, shipped to customers nationwide, and served in offices, cafes, and events from coast to coast.

It shows up in wedding favors, corporate gift boxes, product launches, and hotel rooms.
